Minimum and Recommended Specs for Official DOOM Releases

It was always a demanding release on PC.

I've got a habit, one that I enjoy... it's checking out PC specs of video games. For 5 years I've had a rig that could handle anything scalable and now I'm facing the fact that my PC is due for an upgrade. So that got me thinking after seeing the recent specs for Doom The Dark Ages what were all the PC specs for older Doom Titles....

🔥 DOOM (1993)

Minimum Requirements:
- CPU: 386DX (33 MHz)
- RAM: 4 MB
- GPU: VGA-compatible graphics
- Storage: 12 MB

Recommended Requirements:
- CPU: 486DX (66 MHz)
